Online Gradebook:
Both students and parents can view student progress with the online gradebook. The gradebook is available 24/7 and automatically updated every day. The online gradebook shows the student's grade on every individual assignment as well as a grade for overall performance. This is especially helpful to the supervising parents enabling them to keep up to date with their son or daughter's performance in the class.
Online Forum:
Students can interact with one another and the teacher in a safe, monitored, closed environment. An online forum provides students an opportunity to request and/or provide help with specific problems or general questions. The instructor monitors the Forum to ensure that students get timely responses. Students who don't feel comfortable asking questions often find the answers to their questions on the forum. It's not surprising that more than one student has the same question!
Online "Ask Your Teacher" Helpdesk:
We provide an additional online tool, the "Ask Your Teacher" Helpdesk. While a student is working on a problem, he or she can submit questions directly to the teacher. This online tool is especially helpful when a student has difficulty understanding a concept and requires some individual tutoring to get over any "rough spots" and stay on track.
Graphics And Videos:
Graphics and videos are used to assist in instruction and demonstrate chemical recactions.
